The Budapest Bank Startup Competition

Enter The Budapest Bank Startup Competition! You can have a 10 minute presentation of your project in front of a professional jury of investors at the Web 2.0 Symposium-Barcamp Budapest Conference if you make it into the top six. When you have finished, the jury evaluates your presentation in front of the audience. The podium finishers are awarded with valuable prizes that help them with their enterprises.

If you have a product you can enter the Competition even if you don't have a registered company. It is of no importance how old your company is, as long as the service you present has been active for no more than 24 months.

You should enter the Competition if you fancy being evaluated by a jury of seven investors, bringing your enterprise in the professional limelight and of course, winning a prize.

Entry is free. Participation at the conference is also free for the top six competitors.

Required appendices:

- CV (or CV's): introduction of the managers, details of your completed projects; a detailed report of any previously started companies or launched products.

- your business plan – how big your planned clientele is; the source of your planned revenues; your vision of your enterprise in 1, 3 and 5 years; a short introduction of your competition; why your service is special; what its technological requirements are.

- a feasibility study (optional)

- a demo (optional)

The projects are kept confidential. The projects are evaluated by a professional pre-jury that selects the six best by 2 March. Then, the organisers notify each entrant until 3 March the latest.

The Prizes

The First Prize: A one-year office lease (starting no later than 1 September 2011) at the Corvin Offices. The prize is offered by Finextstartup.

- a HUF 2,000,000 advertisement package (list price) for the subpages of origo.hu. The prize is offered by Origo Zrt.

- a HUF 500,000 PR service package to promote the winner's enterprise through the press. The prize is offered by PR Agency SAKKOM Interaktív.

- a HUF 100,000 package of waived banking fees. The prize is offered by Budapest Bank.
